On Tuesday, 18 March, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a draft order on the transfer of state-owned vehicles to Ukraine free of charge.

In order to foster support from the Ukrainian public and strengthen cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities in the exceptional circumstances created by the war waged by the Russian Federation, the Government has approved the transfer of 29 state-owned vehicles to Ukraine free of charge.

The Agendum, Tev and Entrepreneurs for Peace foundations, which receive requests for assistance from various Ukrainian government institutions, have assessed the available vehicles and informed the State Agency for Collateral (SAC) of the needs. The transport of the vehicles to Ukraine and their handover to Ukrainian government authorities will be ensured by the above-mentioned associations, who will bear all related costs.

As per the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 901, dated December 17, 2024, concerning Competent Institutions and the Disposal of State Property, the SAC is responsible for taking over, storing, maintaining records, disposing of, transferring without charge, destroying, and allocating the proceeds from the disposal of movable property under its custody to the state and local government budget.
