On 19 June, the State Border Guard College (hereinafter - VRK) held the 16th edition of the full-time students of the VRK and the 10th graduation of the part-time students of the VRK. In this graduation, 44 students received diplomas for the acquisition of the first-level vocational higher education study programme “Border Protection”, i.e., 21 full-time and 23 part-time students.
The release took place in the WRK ranking area, where General Guntis Pujāts, the Chief of the State Border Guard, spoke to the present, stressing that the State Border Guard (hereinafter - VRS) is doing everything possible to provide the new officers with modern techniques, infrastructure and armaments, and looks forward to a fair development service. During the formal event, the Home Affairs Minister's request to graduates was read: "You are our future and the cornerstone of the security of our people. I am sure that the knowledge acquired in college will be a firm basis for success in life and work, allowing you to become professionals in your field and to serve your country and people in honor. Congratulations to each of you at the beginning of a new path! "
Graduates were presented with a lieutenant's shoulders and diplomas, which confirm the acquisition of the qualification of the youngest officer of the VRS. Colonel Mariks Petrušins, director of the State Border Guard College, gave appreciative words to graduates, handing out diplomas and rewarding the best graduates.
VRK The Third Training Company of the Vocational Training Service has been awarded an honorary title to Roland Barovsky, “Best cadet of the year: Third Training Company”.
Cadets of the Third Study Company of the CEC Vocational Education Service - Ieva Madara Čačka, Rolands Barovskis, Laine Nikitina, Vitolds Pļčars, as well as Major Pāvels Rogožs, Head of the Border Control and Immigration Control Service of the SRS Daugavpils Administration, Chief Inspector Captain Vadims Grickovs, Inspector of Daugavpils Category I Service Detained Aliens Accommodation Center "Daugavpils" Captain Zita Safina and Inspector of Silene Category I Border Checkpoint Deputy Officer Jūlija Sizova.
Considering high results in the qualification exam awards to the third training company of the VRK Vocational Training Service, Ieva Madara Čačka and Laina Nikitin, while due to the high ranking in the defence of qualifications - Senior Inspector Tatiana Lapteva, Senior Inspector General of THE European Union Division of Joint Operations.
To mark the head and author of the Best Qualification Work of VRK, awarded GRK Department of Border Guard and Immigration Services headquarters guide guide Iveta Adijā, as Best Qualification Manager and WRK Professional Education Service's Third Training Company kadete Ieva Madara Čačka, as Best Qualifications the author of the work.
Acquisition of the First Level Vocational Higher Education Studies Programme “Border Intervention” shall be hosted by officials OF THE SRS with special service grades. Further, it is possible for graduates to continue their studies at Rezekne Institute of Technology in the “Border Intervention” programme by obtaining a Level 2 Bachelor of Vocational Higher Education degree.
