On Wednesday, July 1, Interior Minister Sandis Ģirģens handed over the Cabinet of Ministers' Appraisal articles for a significant contribution to the strengthening of the internal security of the State and the development of the State Police, to the following officials with special service grades:
- Deputy Chief of the Chief Administrative Board of the State Police, Colonel Normunds Grūbis;
- Chief of the Prevention Control Division of the State Police Department, Lieutenant-Colonel Anvis Rinkevics.
Similarly, for dedicated and active work in negotiating and fulfilling all conditions for defending the interests of Latvia in the Moneyval Commission of the Council of Europe and in the Financial Action Task Force, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Janis Bekmanis receives the document.
