On Friday, July 10, in Rēzekne, 32 young border guards who started training in the professional further education program "Border Guard" in March this year took an oath in a solemn ceremony.
The solemn ceremony took place in the rank square of the State Border Guard College, where the cadets read the text of the oath and confirmed it with their personal signature. The new border guards were greeted by the director of the State Border Guard College, Colonel Mariks Petrušins, at the solemn swearing-in ceremony.
Latvian citizens aged 18-40 are admitted to the State Border Guard. Until 14 August 2020, admission to the State Border Guard College in the professional further education program "Border Guard" is taking place. More information about admission is available on our website www.vrk.rs.gov.lv.
