On Tuesday, June 9, on the basis of an invitation from the Estonian police and border guard administration, the Chief of State Border Guard General Guntis Pujats participated in a videoconference of the Heads of the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian border guards.
The Lithuanian delegation was represented by General Rustamas Liubajevas, Commander of the Border Guard Service of the Ministry of Interior, and the Estonian delegation was represented by Elmar Vaher, General Inspector of the Police and Border Guard Administration.
As part of the video conference, there was an exchange of information and views on the situation on the borders of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in relation to the distribution of Covid-19, changes in the structure of the Estonian Police and Border Guard and the implementation of the Action Plan for 2020 of the Home Affairs Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Baltic Ministers.
