In one of these bars of the Riga Centre, which did not wish to cooperate with the police, the survey had to be conducted with the agreement of the prosecutor. . The Law provides for a warning or a fine between ten and 56 fine units.
Similarly, the provisions of Section 7, Paragraph two of the Law on the Circulation of Alcoholic Drinks were not complied with in this bar, which provides that it is prohibited to keep a packaging of glass, plastic and other types of alcoholic beverages in places of sale of alcoholic beverages for which an excise duty stamp has not been eliminated after the use of the beverage. . In relation to the failure to comply with this Law, an administrative process has been initiated following the second part of the Law on the Circulation of Alcoholic Drinks.
The national police call for an understanding to be treated with the checks carried out and recalls that their aim is to contribute to limiting the spread of Covid-19 virus and to protecting the population from severe consequences. . Citizens are also called upon to comply with the restrictions imposed and it is recalled that persons may be held to administrative responsibility for infringements.
